Program overview

The CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management builds on the Level 3 Foundation Certificate and expands your independent practice so you can move into more senior people roles. The work is mainly operational with some complexity: you analyse information to inform choices and actions, contribute to the thinking around your work, and create short-term value for a wider audience by working with and influencing others.

iLead delivers this diploma with Bradfield Learning & Development, a CIPD approved centre since 1992. The programme runs as Virtual Instructor-Led Training (V-ILT): 26 live online evening units from 16:00 to 20:00 KSA time in three blocks, opened by an induction session, with 175 guided learning hours in total. Expect at least two hours of self-study for every hour of tutor-led learning.

Common questions

Who delivers the programme? +
iLead runs this qualification with Bradfield Learning & Development as learning partner. Bradfield has delivered CIPD qualifications in the UK, Europe and the Middle East since 1992, is licensed for Levels 3, 5 and 7, and was the first provider to teach the new CIPD syllabus in 2021 and to deliver in Arabic in 2023. The qualification itself is awarded by the CIPD.
When do the live sessions take place and how long does a cohort run? +
All live virtual units run from 16:00 to 20:00 KSA time, typically two evenings per week during a unit. A cohort starts with an induction session and runs for around five months across three blocks, with breaks between the blocks.
Are there any examinations? +
No. Assessment is entirely through written assignments, usually one per unit, plus some skills assessments. Your tutor reviews one draft per assignment and gives feedback, and you may submit each assignment twice before a retake is required.
Is the qualification regulated and externally quality assured? +
Yes. CIPD Levels 3 and 5 sit on the UK's Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), regulated by Ofqual and CCEA. Assignments are internally quality assured by Bradfield and externally moderated by the CIPD.
Can Saudi citizens have the course fee refunded? +
Saudi citizens may be eligible for a refund of the certification fee under the Professional Certification Program, up to a maximum of 30,000 SAR. Ask our team to confirm the current conditions for this level.
