Common questions

Do I need formal leadership experience before joining NGLS? +
Participants are expected to have some prior leadership or supervisory experience. NGLS is designed for practicing managers and team leaders, not those who are entirely new to managing others. If you are transitioning into a leadership role with younger teams, you are still a good fit provided you have some direct people management exposure.
Is NGLS relevant if my team is mixed in age, not only Gen Z? +
Yes. While the program pays close attention to the expectations and motivations of younger employees, a core focus of NGLS is managing multigenerational team dynamics. Leaders working across a range of age groups and career stages will find the content directly applicable.
How does NGLS differ from a general management or leadership program? +
NGLS is specifically built around the shifts in workforce expectations driven by younger generations entering the workplace. Rather than covering leadership fundamentals broadly, it focuses on how established managers need to adapt their communication, coaching, and engagement approaches to remain effective with a changing workforce.
Is NGLS suitable for HR and talent development professionals, or only line managers? +
Both audiences are catered for. Line managers and team leaders benefit from the practical tools for day-to-day leadership, while HR and talent development professionals gain diagnostic and strategy-building skills for supporting emerging talent across the organization.
What will I leave with at the end of the program? +
Participants leave with a personal leadership action plan tailored to their own team context, along with practical tools for coaching conversations, engagement diagnostics, and retention strategy. The intent is that these outputs are immediately applicable back in the workplace.
Does NGLS lead to a formal certification or accreditation? +
NGLS does not carry an external accreditation body or lead to a professional certification exam. Participants receive an iLead certificate of completion. The program's value lies in applied skill-building and practical outcomes rather than a credential pathway.
