Description
This interactive, practical and engaging course will develop the Human Resources leadership knowledge and skills of participants at an advanced level as well as the competences needed to achieve greater results.
The course will be assessed by a series of participative sessions and presentation of a personal development plan designed to assess understanding and application of Human Resource leadership and related competences. This will include:
- Organisational and functional context;
- Current role and success measures;
- Short-term opportunities;
- Longer-term development plan and success measures.
The course will be based on several inter-connected themes:

- Role;
- Skills and competencies;
- Knowledge;
- Application, which will unite and run through the other themes.
Learning Outcomes
- Have a full understanding of what “Business Partnering” is, what it looks like in practice, its benefits and how to demonstrate and develop it.
- Have developed their knowledge of business strategy, strategic thinking and planning, change management, metrics and measurement, and other key areas.
- Have advanced their understanding of alternative organizational models and the benefits and costs of each.
- Improve key competences including partnership building, business acumen, professionalism, courageous leadership and more.
- Have assessed their own capabilities, practiced skills and gained confidence in using tools, techniques and models that can be taken back to the workplace.
